A law firm is an integral part of a system. Law firms in Dubai - Professional Lawyer are working proficiently to solve the legal problems of the needy.
Dubai has been a law abides estate due to the authority which is basically maintained by the regulating agencies along with these law firms. The phrase says it all. But by hearing this phrase, many questions appear in my mind. Like:
Is a law firm solution to all legal problems? Can it help all those inferior men and women waiting to get justice? Can it raise a voice against domestic violence or catcalling?
What do you think?
I think most of you would answer in a “yes” for all the above questions. I would do the same except for one disputed question. DOMESTIC VOILENCE
Almost every woman has to face catcalling at some point in their lives. Rarely, some random occurrences come into our sights which are by the way unacceptable but they are mostly treated like a nuisance and nobody bothers to give it a second thought.
Every woman lives by a rape routine. The phrase looks scary and initially, I had no understanding for it. But later on, I realized what exactly this phrase is trying to say. Because of their persistent fear for rape, women do things to protect themselves. From dressing up to locking the house, locking the car doors, or not going to certain streets alone, they take precautions. Taking precaution is not a bad thing but doing these types of acts just to protect oneself from molestation is totally disturbing.
What I am trying to highlight are extreme cases of catcalling which leads to physical abuse, sexual abuse and nevertheless, domestic violence. All these leave a permanent effect in a woman’s life. These are the crimes that should immediately be made illegal. Freedom of speech is a basic right of any individual. But that doesn’t mean to say anything to a girl, to call names at her or to embarrass her. I find it really ridiculous that women should be worried about their dressing as it would catch men’s attention. Women should be free enough to dress themselves according to their comfort and not with a worry that they would be catcalled.
There is no typical victim of catcalling. Victims come from all walks of life; every community, every age group, every education level, every economic level, every background, every culture, every ethnicity, every religion, every ability and every lifestyle.
I have a message for men also. A woman’s presence is not an invitation for a man’s attention. If you like a woman then be man enough to ask for her approval. If she says no, just be cool, graciously accept it and say have a nice day. A simple NO will neither kill your pride nor can it harm you in anyway. No is no, she is not interested. Men were created to be protectors for women but ironically we don’t see that happening in our society.
I am in total support of women empowerment. I say no to catcalling, sexual or mental harassment, domestic violence, rape, molestation and all kinds of violations done to a woman. Help those who are undergoing such circumstances. If you know any women facing any offense, ask her to, legal consultancy in Dubai.
